Huberbuam powered by Meisl
Thomas Huber, Simon Gietl and Yannick Boissenot on their expedition at the Choktoi glacier in the Karakorum, Pakistan, 2019
Their goal to reach the summit of Latok III they had to give up due to bad weather conditions. But they came back with a whole sackful of marvellous pictures and video sequences of one of the most impressive mountain lanscapes on earth. The drone that captured those extraodinary impressions was charged with solar power by a battery-inverter-system from Elektro-Mechanik Meisl.

Victron Energy Blog about Meisl project Konstanzer Hütte
Our supplier and development partner Victron Energy shared a beautiful blog post about one of our numerous alpine off grid systems. The Konstanzer Hütte in Tyrol now uses hydro and solar power in a Victron Quattro hybrid system with a Meisl battery as main energy source - and thereby drastically reduced emissions and costs.
