New plant oil cogeneration facility and energy management system for the mountain hut "Ingolstädter Haus" at 2.119 m above sea level.
Even before the start of the season, preparations are at full speed to enable mountain enthusiasts to enjoy a unique hut experience. For this purpose, a new plant oil CHP plant, to support the thermal and electrical supply, was installed at end of May 2023. The CHP plant was transported by a four-wheel drive transporter to the airfield, where the helicopter picked it up to finally drop it off next to the mountain hut.
In addition, an energy management system from smart1 was installed at the mountain lodge. This gives the hut operator a better overview of the electrical supply and records data for optimizing the energy supply system. After the completed renewal of the system, the individual regulation of the generators and consumers will take place.
